We are aware of the following professional support organisations:
Association of Accounting Technicians
Institute of Certified Bookkeepers
Institute of Legal Cashiers and Administrators
International Association of Bookkeepers
We plan to work with these, and many other professional and trade/industry associations. We compliment, but do not duplicate any existing services offered.
Simplicity - without re-inventing the wheel
The Business Model
The BC business model is based on revenue sharing partnerships with accountancy professionals, technicians and part-time finance directors. We make every effort to develop long-term relationships with our associates and companions,
We believe that team work is essential and we will therefore provide all necessary support and training for our Community of Bookkeepers and specialist technical advisers. We do this through local workshops and induction with the assistance of software houses (nationally) and firms of accountants (local or regional, subject to terms, supply and demand).
Our broad Objectives:
(1) to build a business model that ensures a very professional relationship between Bookkeeping Connections and software accredited Accountancy Professionals.
(2) Developing a bookkeeping technical support team for troubleshooting unsolved software queries, subject to terms..
(3) Setting up a dedicated intranet with FAQs.
(4) Organise regular bookkeeping workshops and open days at local venues
In the medium term we will also develop a peer-to-peer communications network for software licensed users (SME owners/managers), their employees and sub-contractors, providing favourable terms can be agreed with Software houses and their resellers.
